When Emily Adams Bode founded her eponymous label, Bode (pronounced Boh-dee), she did so with the intention of expressing a sentimentality for the past through her creations. Made from sheer cotton voile, the Bougainvillea Short-Sleeve Shirt pays homage to an embroidered tablecloth from the mid-century, replicating the original design featuring embroidered flowers and berries.
